It was so so

Everybody is asking everyone how their Christmas went. Checking out if some people had a better time than the rest. In my case it was so-so. The day before had its fizzle and buzz. I cooked something for the Noche Buena, I bought flowers to brighten up my apartment, and I cleaned the whole house. But as the day was progressing I felt the urge not to celebrate (maybe because i got so tired already). So I called my husband to tell him not to leave his family and to celebrate the holiday with them instead. Then I went to bed and crashed. SO for those asking. it was just so-so.. but a very good so-so. I deserved that damn rest.
